Short Stories

Occasionally a short story will pop into my head and won’t leave me alone until I have written it down.  No one likes to be nagged, particularly when  you are the one inflicting the pain on yourself, so I tend to listen.

The short story, January, was like that.  Being a dragon she wanted her story told and not when it was convenient for me to write it!  Although she was very polite about the whole thing, I thought it best to do as she asked.  I know she will reappear one day with another story she wants to share.  In the meantime, I hope you enjoy what I have written.

Dragon’s Arrow was a title thrown out by a friend.  She challenged a group of us to write a short story based on only the title.  We were given no other information. It was fun to see the varied stories that came out of that challenge.
